Macbook 13" (early 2008), Intel Core 2 Duo, Lion, Fusion 5, Windows 8 Pro
Hi,
I had installed Fusion 5 and have downloaded the Light Version of Fusion 6.
In the VMware KB2014097 I could read: "Installing Fusion 5.x and 6.x automatically removes any older Version of Fusion and replaces it with the new version".
On my Macbook at this time was only running Mac OS X Lion.
I have double clicked the Fusion6.dmg and got the message "Another Fusion-install is running".
After restarting the Macbook and double clicking the Fusion6.dmg I had the same message.
I tried to uninstall Fusion 5 manually, but this operation doesn´t run fine.
After this I tried to double click the Fusion6.dmg again and in the first moment it seems, the installation runs good.
But after 30 seconds I get permanently the message "The installation was unexpected ended".
In the moment all Fusions on my Macbook are dead.
What can I do to reanimate Fusion 5 or to install Fusion 6?
