Mainboard: GIGABYTE GA-H77-D3H
CPU Interl Core i5
Controller: LSI 9650SE 2 Port
I was able to get the vib files intergrated into the iso image so I can install ESX on the RAID disk provided by the LSI Controller.
But the whole reason for swapping out the adaptec and replacing it with a LSI was to be able to get data of this controller (healthstatus) within vshpere.
When I click on Healthstatus in vSphere I only see the mainboard with it's processors and the CPU Information but nothing about the Storage controller.
When integrating the vib into the ISO I used the following file:
scsi-3w-9xxx-2.27.08.036-1OEM.500.0.0.472560.x86_64.vib
So basically it works from the driver point of view, I just need to get the data of the controller into vsphere ...
any helping hints are appreciated.
