Hi
We are about to do a client implementation of Horizon Workspace with about 40 ThinApps that we have yet to package
When we package apps, during the CnB process we will include the Horizon related parameters in the package.ini
AppID
HorizonOrgUrl
VersionID
After we capture the app we will then have a test PC to test the ThinApp to make sure it works prior to it being added to the ThinApp repository and having entitlements created. However the ThinApp won't run as there is no entitlement entry in Workspace for it yet and the app displays the error message.
How can we package all the apps and test them prior to configuring Workspace? Or cant we? Do we have to create all the ThinApps, upload them to the repository, wait for Workspace to scan them, create entitlements, then test?
Also when we update an application utilising the same AppID and incrementing the VersionID, will the tester be able to test this on their test PC prior to uploading it to the Horizon ThinApp repository or will the user get the same horizon error message? We dont want it being pushed out until it has been tested. Or is it possible to use the old integer update method where we keep the same .exe entry point and just update the dat to .1? will this break the Horizon integration?
Thanks
