In preparing to impliment DPM, I'm trying to collect all the info I can to make sure we are ready. This is vSphere 5.1, enterprise plus.
In addition to the VMware docs, are there any caviats, gotchas, hidden dangers, design impacts on other areas, etc. that I need to think about? Any experiences that people have had that would be helpful to know? From the networking side, both HP Virtual Connect and Xsigo / Oracle Fabric Manager will be used in different places in the datacenter. Other than that just looking for a general set of everything need to know before rolling out DPM and also any implementation strategies. The environment will be live before it is implimented so we want it to be as non-disruptive to test and implement as possible.
