Hi
I'm trying to install ESXi 5.1 on a machine with a hardware RAID1 option.
However when the installer lists the drives that I can install the system on, it lists both drives as if RAID was not there at all. I don't have to say that it breaks RAID, since the installer then partitions the selected drive as it sees fit.
Is that a bug? I haven't seen any other options that would allow me to hint the installer about a RAID configuration. As I mentioned, it's a hardware RAID, powered by my motherboard ASUS Z77-V LX ( with an Intel chipset ).
This is the first time I'm installing a virtual server - so please advise me what am I doing wrong.
