Does VMWare have problems with newer Linux Kernels? I had 3.8.0-27-generic when that happened and got problems installing vmware-tools.
No problems with an old Xubuntu 12.04 without updates. Kernel version 3.2.0.
Which Kernel version is working perfectely with vmware?
