Yes,  "Staf local ping ping" got "Error registering with STAF, RC: 21"

I did twice and Make sure that selected the "When I log on" radio button instead of the "When my computer starts" radio button.

still same.  

I did couple times logoff (not reboot) same: black dos windows show then disappear.

I found that some setting in "STAFENV.bat" is not there, for example the Path and STAF_INSTANCE_NAME did not get setup.

"STAFENV.bat" was called by "startstafproc.bat"

"Staf local ping ping" got "Error registering with STAF, RC: 21"
